Carrie Sorensen is currently the President of Washington Association for Bilingual Education and served as the secretary for many years before that. She has worked as a bilingual kindergarten and fourth grade teacher and currently teaches third grade in the Lake Chelan School District. Carrie recently recertified as a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Literacy: Reading-Language Arts/Early-Middle Childhood. She also serves as a National Board and Proteach Facilitator.
