I am a former CABE president and participant for over 30 years. I started my career as a bilingual teacher and later became a bilingual administrator before going into higher education full time. For 20 years I taught graduate bilingual and ELD teachers and doctoral students. I coordinated teacher education for 13 of those years, and for the remaining 7 years I served as director of a university supported center in downtown Santa Ana. You can talk to me about bilingual education, teacher education, critical multiculturalism, and Latino Civil Rights in Education! I hope to see you in my presentation on Friday, March 26nd at 10:30 am,  where I will discuss how a university partnership with community based organizations can strengthen opportunities for community education and engagement, and support its students.
See you virtually!
