Ms. España has worked as an educator for the Los Angeles Unified School District for over twenty years. Throughout her career with LAUSD, she has held many roles in the area of English Learner and bilingual education at the elementary and secondary levels. In her current role as specialist for dual language programs, Ms. España supports schools in continuing the dual language program pathways for students at the secondary level and has presented various workshops and professional development sessions for parents, teachers, and administrators in the area of dual language education
