A native of Colombia, Viviana Hall has more than 18 years in the field of bilingual education. Currently she directs the International PD for Dual Language at Global VIDA and she is a co-founder and board member of BILINGUAL VIDA BILINGUE a non profit Organization. She started as a bilingual teacher and continued a successful career working in the implementation of many undergraduate and graduate bilingual teacher training programs for various universities in North Texas, including SMU and Texas Tech University. Viviana was the first academic director of the only higher education dual language university in Dallas: AG Mendez University. As the National Consultant for Istation, she has been instrumental in developing the Spanish reading program and the ESL applications for all EL settings. She has been an advocate for excellence in education of language minority students playing major roles in organizations like ILA, NABE, TABE, BEAM and ENABLE.

After receiving her undergraduate degree at Fordham University and completing graduate studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Virginia spent ten years in Los Angeles teaching elementary school and ESL to adults. Missing the seasons of the northeast, she returned to New York and began her career in publishing as an educational training consultant. She then transitioned to educational software, where she has spent the last seven years helping teachers and administrators integrate technology into their classrooms. Currently, Virginia is working on creating custom solutions for Covid classrooms. In her free time, she sits on the executive board of Grace Academy in Hartford.
